4th of July meeting this Thursday evening (4/21/16) at  7:00 PM in the Masonic Lodge at West Union.

Priority will be moving towards appointing a Pageant director and selecting the raffle prizes.

As the continuing saga of the 2016 West Union July 4^th Pageant continues to unfold and in an ongoing effort to keep you posted, Linda officially cannot do the Pageant this year, as her new employer will require her to be on duty during the 4^th. So…as of this moment, we do not have a Pageant coordinator.  As mentioned in the previous post, Nicki rejected the offer to take over the pageant.

As per the committee’s vote and instructions, I have contacted Nicki Wallace about heading up the Pageant this year. She has declined.

In addition, Linda has had second thoughts and has offered to stay on as pageant director, but she will be available only weekends, and will need some additional assistance if she is to run the pageant.

Please give me your thoughts on how to proceed. I would presume we need to call another meeting soon.
